My name is Samira Mohamed, Muslim, 23 year old campus student from Nairobi, Kenya one of the major cities in Africa. A country that is very well diverse with 47 different communities living together in harmony. I am majoring in Communications, Electronic media , and a minor in marketing currently in my third year.
I am currently living with my parents and I have 8 siblings so this shows I have very good experience with kids, especially because my youngest brother just turned 3 and I am 20 year

I am currently living with my parents and I have 8 siblings so this shows I have very good experience with kids, especially because my youngest brother just turned 3 and I am 20 years older than him , we are very close he is basically my best friend. My siblings and I get along very well, I have also babysat many of my cousins varying from the ages of 2-12 years old.
For my hobbies I love to read books my favourite book so far is "A thousand splendid suns," stargazing, Birdwatching am a huge fan of nature. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations.I also volunteer to various kids organizations especially orphanages, where we do alot of activities like playing hide and seek, singing and dancing together and many other fun activities.I just love kids soo much, and because of this I would love to become your next aupair.
I am very much aware that becoming your aupair doesn't mean just playing with the kids but it also comes with responsibilities as I will be like their big sister. I have a very calm and patient personality and am very much aware of how kids behave as kids will always be kids right, this means finding balance for them to listen to me when needed and also be their best friend. I am very quick to adapt to new surroundings and I have a feeling I will get along very well with the kids and everyone in general because I am very easygoing and not demanding at all. I would describe my strength as an Aupair as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Aupair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them
I believe that the key to successful relationships is through communications and am very good in that department so I doubt if we will ever have issues , even if they do come about I will be sure to communicate effectively to find a better solution.
I have never been abroad , and I think this will be a nice experience for me to go out learn new cultures, make friends and interact with people from different backgrounds and diversity.
I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of their family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. Where there is family there is love. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
