Your information is ONLY used for the purposes of families and au pairs ‘matching’ with each other. We do NOT sell your information to anyone. Our secure and fully encrypted payment solutions providers are: Stripe and Paypal. We never see your credit card or other confidential payment details. You may access, amend, or delete your membership data at any time. By using Newaupair.com you freely consent to any necessary data collection for a membership website. Please do not use this site if any of these normal site characteristics trouble you.

Why do we process your data?

It is essential for EVERY membership website. Without that you would not be able to successfully browse, search, filter, use match function to find childcare help or childcare job you’re looking for. Collecting and using your data enables us to establish your membership. Also helps to have an overview of the various types of members once you’re logged in. It is the user who provides his/her consent before becoming a member. Therefore all the details of the data is in her/his full knowledge and provided voluntarily and with his/her agreement/consent.

The provided data is only used to help the Member to help to find childcare provider or childcare job – in harmony with the members wishes. Our automated system sends members automated emails relating to activities that of an interest to our members. In addition it sends useful info about other members who are interested in the profile/advert of the member. The system can also send ‘weekly match’ emails if a Member decide to use this service. (This is optional and is in the control of the Member.)

Which data do we collect and process?

Our Members provide their data voluntarily, therefore it is in their full knowledge and agreement. There are mandatory fields and non-mandatory fields that a Member can choose to fill out or not-to-fill out. All data fields are designed and created with the intention of helping the Member to find the best available childcare provider to suit them or the au pair job or nanny job and the data is used solely for this purpose. We aim to help our Members to succeed in their search to find what they are looking for – let it be childcare provider or childcare or babysitting job – and fulfil the aim that drove them to use our website. The more details a Member is willing to fill out the better search and match results they can achieve. This way they can utilise their time much more efficiently and succeed much faster in their au pair/nanny search or childcare job search.

You can also modify or delete your posted content.
There are mandatory fields when you create an account. These are: first name, last name, email address, nationality, interest, location and dates. We may collect other personal data when you join, for better results. For instance, self- or family- description, skills, job description, ages, requirement etc. Most of these data are non-compulsory and Members can decide how much information they want to fill out. Please note that we do not expect that participants provide data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs. But they are free to do so, within reasonable limits, if they feel that this is relevant to their search. Any inclusion of these types of personal data is the responsibility of the participant.

How long do we keep your data?

Members can modify or delete their Membership data at any time through Member page which is in the Member’s control. Otherwise members’ personal data will be kept for a confined time period after their last interaction with the platform. After that the Member’s personal data will be deleted, unless he/she renews their interest in being a registered user of our platform or if they have saved their profile for future interaction.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

Members can modify or delete their Membership data at any time through Member page. Their Member page is in the Member’s control.
