Dear host family
My name is Melissa and I am 23 years old. I have training in basic education and first aid. I have been working as a part-time tutor. I have been responsible for the children, I had to help them with their homework and be their support system. I realized that working with children is my passion and that can come from living in a crowded family with many cousins, all younger than me. I have always been the older sister who leads the way.

I think I am a very apt candidate to be an au pair. My skills have been shaped throughout my life, especially since I worked as a private teacher. I have met many personalities and have learned to deal with them individually. It gives me great joy to dedicate time and effort to children. I have the experience of being a big sister and a teacher, and I know that being an au pair comes with many responsibilities. However, being calm and patient in stressful situations is a skill that I have and use.
I believe that I can easily adapt to new routines and surroundings and to a new family. I have never been very demanding and living with me is easy.
