My name is Hikari, I am from China, Chengdu, Sichuan. My name means Lys Sne in Danish. I am a freelance illustrator who loves art. I mainly paint oil paintings, color paintings, and Digital paintings. I hope to express my feelings about the world through painting. I would like to be in an au pair relationship with a family in Denmark.
I am a lively and cheerful girl who usually likes to listen to music, take pictures, write poems, read all kinds of interesting books, watch documentaries, movies, cartoons and so on. I also like to raise plants. I have a very lovely potted rose named Monet, who is my favorite impressionist painter. After graduating from university, I rented a house in the countryside, lived a life of painting in nature alone, staring at the starry sky at night and occasionally went to the city to meet with friends. My landlord is very nice. She has a six-year-old boy. We draw together and raise goldfish and a cute hamster. The hamster likes to get into my thick old winter socks and get its little head out of the hole. Come out and look around, it's so cute!
My hometown lives in the mountains, surrounded by a large virgin forest. I have gained a lot of fun in the mountains since I was a child. For example, in spring, I would pick spring tea and dry it. Peach blossoms bloomed everywhere, and the whole hill was dyed pink. I climbed up the mountain and shuttled among the flowers. It's a wonderful feeling; We swim in the river in summer, catch little crabs, and fireflies will light up the night for you along the grass on the side of the path; in autumn we pick wild chestnuts and bamboo shoots, and many fresh bamboo shoots will emerge after the rain; In winter it will snow, we burn firewood and eat hot pot under the snow, roast sweet potatoes, make beautiful ice lanterns with friends at night. We dig a hole in the snow and put candles in it.
My home is a homestay, very Chinese style, with a big yard, goldfish in the pond, and many flowers and plants, all kinds of flowers are blooming all year round, there are wisteria and peach blossoms like waterfalls on the pavilion , roses that cover the entire pavilion, powder blue hydrangea bushes and fragrant orchids. My parents are very hospitable and love to cook, so I learned a lot of Sichuan dishes. Since I was a child, I would help receive guests, clean up, and meet many interesting guests. I like children very much. I often play hide-and-seek with my neighbor's younger brothers and sisters, do scientific experiments together, draw pictures together, and tell them fairy tales.
I have no experience as an Au Pair. Why I want to be an Au Pair is because my future plan is to grow into a great illustrator. The experience of living abroad will give me artistic inspiration. And I love to be with kind people.
Denmark is a very lovely country. I have a boyfriend who is a doctoral student in Denmark. He is a very gentle person. He always shares with me the beautiful scenery of Denmark, the quiet seaside, and the ducklings playing in the pond in the woods. He read to me Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, and the scene where the statue of the Little Mermaid gazes out from the sea. I am very much looking forward to living and studying in Denmark for a period of time. It is a very happy thing to be able to go to a completely different country, experience the Danish culture, and see the beautiful other side of the earth. I want to meet more kind people and build bonds with you.
If you choose me as an Au Pair, what I can bring you is: I will try my best to do my job well, help the family share the housework, I will take good care of the children, accompany them to protect their safety, and bring them happiness. I can also cook Chinese food for you to taste and introduce Chinese culture to you. Also learn Danish, respect your way of life, and try to integrate into Danish culture. In addition, I will paint in my spare time, go to nature to sketch, use a brush to record my time in Denmark, and I also want to play with my boyfriend, I miss him very much.
