Dear host family,
My name is Maurine from kenya and am 24 years old soon to turn 25 years. I am a native English speaker. I am living with my mother and my two younger brothers in Nairobi which is the capital city of kenya. I am currently working as a merchandiser and I also taking classes with Alison online courses. I have certificates in caregiver,child care and hotel management. Am also learning languages online to get some basic knowledge.
When it comes to leisure,I enjoy listening to music for it makes me feel better about everything. I take pleasure in simple things in life,I enjoy being outdoors, being with friends, going for walks, visiting places I haven't been to. I love to read a good book, did I mention I enjoy cooking very much I want to learn every recipe available,I get myself watching some recipes on YouTube and practicing them. I love playing with children and helping them with activities.
I want to become an au pair because I want to travel and learn new culture and meet new people, learn different languages not forgetting the most important thing to be able to care,help and play with children. It gives me great joy to watch over little angels.
I have first hand experience with children for I am the eldest child in my family,I helped my mother with my two younger brothers from a very tender age. Am good with both infants and toddlers. I also took care of my younger cousins I could babysit when my aunt was at work, feed,change diapers,play and put them to sleep for their nap. I have also helped out my neighbors children with babysitting them.
I will help with you children in playing, homework, feeding and all day to day activities. I will help with the house chores and cooking when needed.
