Dear Future Host Family,

Greetings! My name is Sherlou and currently living here in the Philippines. I studied Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Yes, even though it's not related with my degree but it's not hindrance with my passion to care, love and teach the kids. As a Filipino, we are known for being Family-oriented, I value the time I always spend with my loved ones and people around me. I have a big family tree which I gained my childcare experiences from taking care of my younger sibling, cousins, and nephews/ nieces. I have childcare experiences ages from infant-18 yrs.old. From preparing formulas and change diapers, serve healthy meals, bathe and dress them, read stories for them, homework assistance, doing fun and educational activities together.

I'm open-minded and adaptable. I will be aware of my responsibilities as an au pair. I'm adequate to the task to be an au pair because I'm mature and reliable. As in early age my parents taught us how to look after ourselves, to be responsible and help around the house from cooking, cleaning, laundry and the like.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I do enjoy my alone time (eating, grocery/ shopping, visiting places etc.) and also enjoy the time being with my family, relatives and friends. I love taking photos of sceneries. I love singing and doing some pencil sketching that I know will influence the kids in a good way. I'm a person who loves being around with kids, and know how important it is to provide them individual attention. They always motivates me to become better version of myself and that's something I've learned while being around with them.

My passion towards my self improvement is not only for myself but also to help kids finding their ways by means of helping them discover more about themselves as well. I love witnessing wonderful "firsts", how they develop and learn new things every day. And knowing that you're part of that is a very rewarding feeling.
