Dear family.
My name is Montserrat, although everyone calls me Montse. I am a 19 year old girl born on 04/02/2001 in Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain.
My family is not too big. We are my mother, my father, my little sister, my cat and me. My mother is also from Terrassa. On the other hand, my father, he is Italian, so I speak and understand Spanish, Catalan and Italian perfectly.
Right now I'm a math student at university, something that requires a lot of patience.
In addition to studying, I work teaching children from 4 to 11 years old. I love children, forever. I love spending time with them, playing, teaching them. I consider myself a person with a lot of patience and very responsible. All the children I have been with, taking care of them or teaching them, within a few days, they have had full confidence in me. I believe that I transmit security to them and, apart from fulfilling my obligations, I care about them, involve them in my personal life and show them that I really care about them.
Apart from all this, I also study languages. I have a high level of English and, right now and for 4 years, I am studying German in an academy. My level of German is not as high as that of English but, little by little, I am improving.
I love spending my free time with my family and friends. Of all my family, I am the oldest cousin, and I love spending time with my cousins. With my friends we usually go to the movies, to the swimming pool, to eat together and tell each other all the things ...
And finally I would like to explain to you why I would like to be an AuPair. First of all because of my love for children. Since the career I have chosen will not allow me to spend time with them in the future, I want to find a job that, at least for now, if it allows me. Besides, I think it will allow me to grow a lot as a person, helping me with languages and enriching myself culturally.

I am the oldest cousin in my family. So I have always taken care of my smallest relatives. I have always loved doing it and my cousins have a great time with me.
In addition, I currently work teaching two 11-year-old girls, both with ADHD. I love them very much, and for me they are already like my family. Not only do I teach them but I have also looked after them when their parents needed me. And when I am with them, I not only perform my obligations, but I like to get involved in their personal lives, listen to them, and help them in everything I can and more. I have also taught a 5-year-old girl, and I have looked after various little ones sporadically.
