Hello everybody my name is Julia and I am from Germany. :)
I've already lived in abroad in Australia for half a year as an exchange student and absolutely loved everything about it and really want to make more experiences there and get to know new lifestyles and people. Further I like working with children and therefor think becoming an aupair would be a great opportunity.
During school I have gained some experience in working with children. I have coached a fieldhockey team (age 4-6), was kind of a teachers assistant at a math workshop at my school for some really smart and adorable kids (age 9-10), I am still doing an extracurricular workshop about how to be safe in the internet, socialmedia and interact appropriately with others (age 10-15). Additionally I am a class godmother for a year 6 class and am doing a sports project in primary school (age 6-10)
In regard to my character and lifestyle: I am able to work very consistent, structured and responsible. But do enjoy to just lay back or be spontaneous.
Furthermore I believe that honesty is always the best option and am a rather outgoing person so quite the opposite of someone you would call shy. So I would like to rather have a very open and close relation to my future hostfamily. :)
I am really diverse when it comes to my hobbies. I do like to stay inside and read (mainly fantasy) books or play piano. But further really enjoy hiking or just exploring new surroundings. I used to play field hockey (but can not do so at the moment due to medical reasons). Furthermore I really enjoy cooking and baking and basically live for brownies and cookies :). Other than that I love skiing, the beach and I am absolutely down if you want to go for a swim too. On the other hand spending a day hanging out with friends/ family, shopping or relaxing is fun to me too.
As I have already said I have been abroad before and improved my English.
Of course I am fluent in German. :P
Additionally I studied Latin in school and successfully completed the finishing exam.
At home, in Germany, I only have one brother but am very much open to making the experience of being part of a bigger family.
So if you are an outgoing, funny and basically just lovely family I would be absolutely thrilled to be able to be an Au Pair in your family.
