Dear family,

My name is Romanus, I am a 23 years old boy and I am from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I live just live in the city with my aunt and his family. I've attended boarding schools since I was young and I've learned to be responsible at an early age. At school, I used to take care of my young ones(kids).

I am a very open and curious person. I love travelling and learning new things, and I especially love languages (I speak English, Swahili and some German too), so I could talk to your children in any of those languages to teach them.

When I finished secondary and high school I did a social activity, volunteering at a childrens' home (orphanage) Northern parts of my country. I used to teach Maths, Bible and Science. During my free time I played and we used to sing with the kids. After high school I again went there and taught Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. I also lived for two months in the East of my country at another orphanage teaching little kids, which was a very enriching experience for me in many ways.

Last summer I did volunteer work in Germany for 3 weeks at the SOLA LEIPZIG kids and teens camp where I was a staff and enjoyed the time playing with children. And we went twice to visit the elderly house. It was very rewarding—children always bring out the best in people. So it was with me. They learn from us, but we learn more from them!

My friends say that I am a very responsible and affectionate person. I consider myself attentive, patient, easygoing and communicative. I'm proud to say that I am trustworthy and naturally calm.

I am strong enough to help with different activities at home and outside. Helping kids and playing with them is my biggest interest. I can teach too.

I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and your children, know about your lifestyle, and to get to know more about your country and culture. I am keen to improve the little German too.
