Hii nice to meet you, my name is Ivana I am 22 years old and I'm studying 6th semester of international trade business at ITESO University in Guadalajara, Jal. I'm very interest in the upair program during the period Jun-Aug 2020.
For the past 3 years I worked as a coordinator in CONTECHO MX which is a nonprofit organization whose main objective is to build houses for low income families in the Ferrusquilla neighborhood located in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, México.
These my qualifications: During my time there I was able to get sponsorship's form locally own companies enough to build 3 houses in over $25,000 USD ; I developed, improved and implemented the family selection process and procedures ; I improve the construction logistics making it more efficient by reducing the construction time instead from 14 days to 9 days obtaining labor cost reduction ; I developed and implemented a program of biweekly community clean-ups when settlers and government elements participate together ; I created and implemented a program named “ monthly business trip” where children visit local companies with the aim of motivating them to study, work and leave their comfort zone ; I started and implemented charity events to get founding's for Mexican holidays such as children's, mother's and family day in the community.
I swam since I'm 7 years old, I formed part of the Mexican National team and during the last 5 summers I have been working giving swimming lessons to children beginners aged 5-9 having a 100% of positive results.
I want to be an aupair for the reason that I want to go to an academic exchange in Africa to start developing CONTECHO there and I need money to pay it.
I'm sure I'll be an excellent aupair, I love working with kids, they are the seeds of what you teach them.
Since I'm 12 years old I'm nanny of my cousins and family friends , when I was 15 years old I started working as a swimming teacher for children ages 5-9 and in CONTECHO since 2017 I directly work with children of the neighborhood teaching them math, reading & writing, ethic & values and playing sports.
