Au pair from Brazil, 23, starting in July/August!

Hello! I'm Barbara, a 23 year old from Brazil.
I'm a former gymnast and ground acrobat, with an associates' degree in photography and relevant academic experience in makeup artistry, fashion and hospitality, and before I start working full-time, I'd love an opportunity to explore a different culture and to have real life experiences with different kinds of people in a place away from home (to become, hopefully, my second home)!

I enjoy reading and dancing the most, though being outside comes as a close second! One of my favourite hobbies is the Lord of the Rings universe and everything related to it, so, if your child is a fan of elves, hobbits or dwarves, we will get right along! I love antique + early music, such as baroque and earlier pieces, and find the opera superbly interesting. I like cooking and baking a lot, too, and would like to be able to learn more kinds of handiwork if I could (such as embroidery, sewing, knitting...), as I feel I learn best if it's something I can get my hands on. I'd like to become an Au Pair so I can be able to live side to side with people who were raised differently than me, to learn all I can from the culture I'll be in, and to be able to really improve my language skills as it'll be an immersive experience, things I wouldn't be able to do in my home country.

I think you should host me as your Au Pair because I am sure I can add to your family with the warm disposition natural to Latino cultures and be able to share with you all sorts of stories and tales (I DO adore reading fantasy books, after all!)
