My name is Jenny (birthname Saamanthi.) I am born in 1996. I would like to join a nice family as au pair in south-Korea!

Dear Host Family,

My name is Jenny (birthname Saamanthi.)
I was born in the Netherlands in 1996. My parents are from Sri lanka. I am interested in becoming an au pair in Korea.
I am a bright girl, who loves to take care of children. Not only is taking care important, but also listening, understanding, helping and playing with them.
I am a quite person with clear opinions.
Of course, like everyone else, do I have my own morals. The most important one for me is respect.
I am very open-minded and am able to adapt easily.
Besides that am I very responsible and am I able to deal with pressure.
I am strict when I need to be, but at the same time very understanding and kind.
I majored in nurse and teacher (both 1 year.) Also had an internship for a year as elementary teacher (first and second graders, age 4-6.) After that I worked in a restaurant. My main job was being a waitress. But I started to work as manager/chef/au pair as well. The kids were my boss' children, I was 7 days a week with them and took care of them. I helped the oldest one with her school work as well, especially language, since she had troubles with speaking. The oldest child was born in 2010. The second child was born 2016.
I have several hobbies. I like to write and read poems.
Sometimes I like to practise the piano (even though it's self study, I like to do it.)
Of course I like to go out to eat with my friends, but rather than that, I like to cook for them, since cooking is my passion. I want to become better at it.
There are times when I just stay at home, and just like to watch some tv or listen to some music.
As I mentioned before, I had an intership at an elementary school. i was teacher for the first graders. Age 4-6.
I helped them with all the basic schoolsubjects, for example; language, math, crafting etc.
Kids who needed more care/attention were supervised by me.
I took also care of the children from my former boss. Not only did I just play with them. I helped the oldest one with school work, raising, giving food etc. and the youngest one with raising, changing diapers, bringing her to bed etc.
People often thought that these girls were my daughters.
I speak both Dutch and English fluently.
Besides that do I speak Tamil (south-india) and Korean as well. I am not fluent, but I am able to communicatie properly in both languages.
My reason to become au pair in Korea is because I am very interested in Korea. I studied the language on my own. Besides that am I also fascinated by the culture and food.
That passion combined with my love for working with kids is for me an amazing oppertunity.
The 2 things I like the most are a great step for me for my future. I like to socialize with people and get to know people with different cultures, way of living etc. It fascinates me.
The most important things for me are equality and respect to one another. I am able to help both the kids and parents, while having a good time.
Besides that is my own goal to study the Korean language more and becoming better at cooking Korean dishes. Hopefully I get better as time passes, I want to improve that as well.

Thank you for reading.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

Saamanthi (Jenny)
