My name is Eleanor-Rose (Ellie) Eggleston I am a 25 year old traveller from Australia. I will be in Athens Greece for the month of September and hope to find some work nannying for a nice family. I hope to find employment with a family, who needs assistance with their children during day, where I can not only care for the children but entertain and play with them.

My experiences in childcare are extensive, being raised in a large family I have spent most of my life surrounded by and caring for children. I first began taking care of children on my own when I was 12 years old, babysitting my nephew from early afternoon till late evening while his Mother worked. Between the age of 17 and 19 I was a live-in nanny of 3 boys (between the ages of 1 and 5) who's Father worked away and Mother worked during the day. At the same time I also regularly babysat children of family friends. While I was at University I left my job as a nanny but continued to regularly babysit my many (9 children in total) nieces and nephews (the oldest being 13 and the youngest 4months) while my sisters and their husbands worked full-time. During my time as a nanny/babysitter my many roles included, waking children up and getting them ready for school or daily activities, preparing meals, assisting them with schoolwork or other projects, organising crafts, activities and games, cleaning, and taking care of pets, walking them to and from school and putting them to sleep. I would like to be an Au Pair or Nanny abroad as I have spent most of my life with children and respect and adore them, I would like to be able to be a positive force for fun imagination and learning.
