Introduction of the au pair / nanny:

Nanny/Au Pair from America, Hana, 22, looking for position, starting from 1 December!

I come from a Midwestern family of 6: my mom, my four siblings, and me. My siblings and I are very close in age, seeing as the four of us are quadruplets (2 boys and 2 girls)! I have an older sister by 2 years.

In terms of language, I am fluent in English (native language) and American Sign Language (ASL). The reason for the latter language is because I am deaf. I do have a cochlear implant and have been using it since I was four years old; I can speak very well so communication shouldn't be an issue.

I do not have much experience with traveling abroad; just the time that I went to Germany to visit my older sister, who had been studying there at the time. I am excited to expand on experiences that can only be made overseas.

I have several years of experience with children. When I was 18, I was a swim instructor for the summer. The next summer, I was a nanny for my baby cousin (who was 3 at the time) although I had been babysitting him since he was an infant. He will be 7 this year! From winter 2017 to the end of the summer 2018, I worked with children in a recreation facility (afterschool and summer camp). Through this, I have experience working with children that have one or more disabilities (as a one-on-one), and working with children in a group setting. I have CPR and First Aid training and CPI training.
