My name is Caroline 27, from kenya willing to join a nice host family as an aupair or nanny from mid June.

My name is Caroline. I am a 27 year old friendly, sociable, affectionate, calm and fun to be with Kenyan citizen currently living in the capital city- Nairobi.

About me

I am an open minded person with excellent interpersonal skills as i can interact and relate well with people from all backgrounds. In addition i am a flexible hardworking fast learner who adapts to new environments within a short period of time.My time management skills are excellent and i am able to work independently and responsibly without any supervision.

I am fluent in English as it has been the language of instruction since primary school to university and the working environment.

I am the third born in a harmonious family of 5 children and I have a good relationship with all my siblings and my mum. I have 2 elder sisters and 2 younger brothers. In addition I have 2 nephews aged (5) &(3). I also have 2 adopted young siblings.

I am new to Au pairing but definitely not new to children and doing childcare work. I have quite an extensive childcare and support experience with both new born and school going children. I have, for a long time helped with childcare work such as;

1. waking up and getting children ready for school including feeding them.
2. Dropping them at the bus stop or taking them to school and picking them up in the evening.
3. Guiding them with their homework.
4. Preparing lunch/ dinner and putting them to bed when it is required of me.

In addition i also provide after school tuition in mathematics, science and social studies to children who are mostly above 10 years and the candidates who are about to sit for their national exams. I am conversant with other household chores like laundry, ironing and tidying the house.

My future host family should expect from me the care, support and attention to their children, honesty, kindness, responsibility and respect. In return i also expect that my future family will be respectful and supportive and friendly to me.

During my free time I love watching movies, cycling, reading or just strolling around. I am adventurous and i love trying new things am also always open for any sporting activity. At times I just want to sit and indulge in deep conversations while sharing ideas with people.

I love children and i would like to have an new experience with children from different cultures and I am hoping that Au pairing will give me that opportunity. I also want them to feel loved and cared for when their parents are away. I also believe that a cultural immersion would be a better way to learn a foreign languages and new cultures than in a classroom context making it my second reason as to why am interested in becoming an Au pair.
