Dear host family,
In this letter,I would like to introduce myself to you so you could know more about my family and my purpose of becoming an au pair.
I'm Vila Yang, a 27 year old girl from China.My family and I live in Shi Jiazhuang, located in southern of Beijing and is the capital city of Hebei Province.My hometown is a fast-growing city where people are very passionate,hospitality and humble.
I majored in Accounting in my college and graduated in 2015.After graduation,I worked in an Internet company named Meituan for 4 years.My job is a project leader to do analysis about map datum.
I am a lively, friendly and laughing girl. My friends say that I am a girl who has an infectious smile, so I can always bring joy to people around me.In my spare time, I enjoy reading books especially in rainy days. I also like to communicate with people,it's fun to meet different people and communicate with them.I love running and exercise,I usually go to fitness center three times a week.Besides I also love hiking,riding bicycle,skiing.My hobby is travelling, in my holiday I went to many places in China and some Asian countries such as South Korea and Thailand.I have a dream to travel all over the world.
I was volunteering at a welfare center for children in 2017,I went there twice a month, every two hours of volunteer service.We spent two hours there pleasantly,.The child's age are about 3 to 15 years old.In these two hours, I and the children play games, paint pictures, and tell stories. It is because of these experiences that I have a clearer understanding of children, and love them more.
Now,I usually care baby for my friends when they are busy.
I have a three-year-old nephew. He was born in 2016. When he was a baby, I fed him, changed his diapers. Now, I teach him eating by himself, tell him stories before bed, take him to the park and watch cartoons with him.
I was brought up in a traditional Chinese family with 4 members.They are
my father, mother, my younger brother and I. My father is businessman, he is very busy, he goes to work early and comes home from work late. My mother is a housewife, she looks after all the household duties, she keeps the house tidy. My father and my mother are lovely couple, I learn a lot from them.They raised me to be honest and do business down to earth. I've been accustomed to their flexible working time and free income. Meanwhile, it was this relatively tolerant environment that exerts subtle influence on me that one should learn how to live an independent life. My mom teach me about cooking,baking and housework. Thanks to my parents, I had a happy and golden childhood. I am really proud of having a good mum and dad like this.
When it comes to this program, the most attractive point was the chances to broaden my horizon, to view everything around me in a brand new perspective just like a new-born baby. Meanwhile, I hope to be able to gain the experience in the concept of kindergarten education system of European kids and learn about culture exchange. I love children.They're simple and unaffected. They can make me laugh every moment. And they are very funny and full of imagination. Also I can learn some good things from them. Every time as I thought back the days I worked as a part-time foreign teacher's assistant at an English-training company. I felt very grateful to that class of eight children. Each child is like a color of rainbow that is quite different. When I tried to accompany them to do everything they did, they began to accept me and they gradually get accustomed to my presence.I would like to take this challenge and believe that I would get used to the Au Pair life rapidly, especially under some kindly guide from your family.
After Au pair program I will return to my hometown and fill my desire to start my own business about education and culture exchange.Au Pair program will be a wise choice which I would never regret. I would cherish everyone who will
appear in my life. If you come to visit my hometown one day, I will be pleased to be your best guide just as you have ever done for me!
