My experience of studying Primary Education with QTS and going on to work in education has given me a solid foundation for all curriculum subjects taught in Welsh and English. I've had the opportunity to teach and assess learners with a variety of educational and behavioural needs that have enriched my understanding as a teacher.

Being a FS2, Year 1 and Year 2 teacher has given me a number of diverse experiences of working in the field of education. I have developed good professional relationships with the pupils as well as with all school staff, managing to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff. I am keen to develop my knowledge and I am very flexible and am able to respond to many requirements. I believe that my enthusiasm and my vibrant personality will help encourage and inspire learners of all ages and abilities. Being in charge of a class has enabled me to acquire many effective strategies in the classroom such as active learning methods and assessment for learning. I have high expectations and my performance development assessments reflect that.

I trust that I have clear experiences of life and the running of a school in different parts of the World. I work closely with other teachers to plan collaboratively within our units, I attend school meetings and have held many welcome evenings, parents evenings and arrange regular meetings with parents and carers. I am confident in implementing interesting lessons from all aspects of the Foundation Stage and Key Stage Two. When planning my work I am very clear of the curriculum requirements and infuse this into my lessons as well as differentiation of the work and opportunities for assessment.

I am confident that I can effectively manage and organize in the classroom and I can give clear instructions. I can create an effective, safe and appropriate environment for the class. I can plan and implement lessons with a definite structure and capacity in accordance with the requirements of the learners. Since working as a teacher I have conducted many highly successful Christmas shows and class assemblies where I planned, taught and conducted the classroom throughout. I have also helped with various School Eisteddfod and practices for the Urdd Eisteddfod. I have had the opportunity to lead extracurricular activities such as sports practices, mathematics sessions, and rehearsals and guide a dance club. I use a variety of ICT techniques as a powerful method of transferring information effectively and in an interesting manor for learners.

I can work well at all levels, and I thrive when working in a team. I've managed to gain the respect and trust of all pupils and colleagues in all schools that I have worked at.

I think it is vital that pupils receive interesting, energetic and challenging lessons. I am very confident at promoting effective classroom management methods by creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom. I managed to encourage lower ability pupils to achieve their potential as well as further inspiring gifted and talented pupils. I use various strategies to encourage the best possible standard from my pupils such as Traffic lights, award cards, classroom targets and experiment with ICT techniques in lessons to keep and maintain pupils' interest.

My past experience of working at various schools in India and Dubai has given me the passion to travel and work in different areas around the world. My time in India gave me the opportunity to work with children from very extreme and various backgrounds where I had to adapt my teaching techniques to suit the children's ability, culture, school ethos and needs.

I can assure you that I will do my best for the pupils, parents and staff of the School as well as the community. I'm a girl from the country who has also been able to adapt to a challenging school in the capital, the middles east and a private school in the UAE. I have benefited greatly from community life full of cultural activities. My upbringing has taught me to be a helpful and reliable and to have a positive attitude towards everything, and aim high. I hope to get the opportunity to show all of this to you.
