I grew up in a small town in Indiana, and always wanted to travel. My family (two amazing parents and one older brother) never had the money to travel internationally, so when I got the chance to study abroad in college I was beyond excited. I lived in London for 5 months and got a chance to visit 8 countries. It made me realize I want to see even more of the world, and au pairing seemed like the perfect fit! Since my time in London I have graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in journalism. I love kids and I have child care experience, although not formally – taking care of little cousins, friends' babies, and the like. I'm willing to learn, and I'm excited to meet an incredible family and explore a new country.
