Dear Host Family,
How are you? I would like to introduce myself to you and let you know a little about me why I would be a good choice to be your family Au pair.
My name is Ivy Faulmino, 25 years old living here in the Philippines. I graduated in all girls school which is Anihan Technical School and took up Culinary Arts. I graduated when I was 17 years old and started to work in a Retreat house. My duties are:
- I woke up in 4am preparing myself to start my duties
-I cleaned up all guest room.
-Prepared the breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner.
-Serving the food to the guest.
-Washed all the dishes.
That is my daily worked routine.
I am grateful because I learned a lot and I gained more friends. After I worked in a Retreat house for a month. I worked as a Cake Decorator for two years. And I have a lot of part time. Every saturday and sunday I teach how to Cook, Bake and Fruit Carving in Canossa Academy. I did babysitting for 3 years old and 5 five years old kids. Sometimes I help taking care and playing my nieces and my parent's friends kids. It was fun and enjoyable. My duties are:
- Making healthy food for the kids (breakfast, lunch, dinner and merienda).
-Making milk for them.
-Taking a bath the kids.
-Playing and walking the kids to the park or playground.
-Washed and do laundry kids stuffed.
-Reading stories
-Taking kids a nap
-Taking care of them and making sure they are safe and happy.
About my Family, My Mother Victoria, 55 years old is housewife and My Father Renato 65 years old is Retired man. I have two siblings and I am the second child. My elder brother Regie is a policeman and my little sister Ruth is in senior high school.
When my sister is still a baby I am the one who is taking care of her. Because before my mother and father need to go to work and I am the one who is responsible for her because I am Her big sister. That is why I am learned to be responsible, independent and hardworking.
About my hobbies, I like to travel, taking photos, trying to taste new and different food, drawing or painting, cooking, baking and watching movies. I am simple women.
I want to be an Au pair in USA because I like to try the culture and I want to learn some American recipes. I love to see the beautiful scenery of USA. I want to experience what is feel to be part of American family.
I am friendly, bubbly, I always smile, independent, responsible, patience, thoughtful, caring, hardworking and neat. I am extremely excited to share my culture as well to your family.
