Dearest future family,

I'm Janica from the Philippines and I'm 25 years old. I am currently here in Vietnam, teaching Math and ICT to adorable primary kids and loving every second of it! I really enjoy teaching. I think it brings out the best in me. My contract ends on May 2019 so I can immediately start being an au pair the month after. I also have experience in teaching English.

I can't explain how thrilled I am to find out that there is an au pair program going on! You see, traveling Europe has always been this sort of a lifelong dream for me. As a kid, I grew up watching shows with European setting on it so I feel like it's this magical place where fairies and unicorns exist and everything is possible. I guess you can blame the fairytales for that. :D If I ever come there, I don't want to do it just for vacation. I want to be able to stay long so I can fully immerse myself to your culture and learn everything I can. This is precisely why the au pair program is perfect for me!

As an au pair, I promise to take care of your kids like my own young brother or sister. I will see to it that we will have time to explore their interests because who doesn't like reading, painting, dancing, singing, trampoline jumping or doing all sorts of other things with adorable kids? Certainly not me! We can even create a whole set of new hobbies together! I will also try to make things as easy for you as possible as I understand how hard it is to hold a steady job so if you need me to do something important, I'm 100% down for it as long as it's reasonable. My only wish is that you treat me like a part of your family just like how I will treat you. Hopefully, we can find a home in each other that transcends beyond race and culture.
