My name is Giovanni, I am 19 years old, and I come from Italy, where I study medicine at university. I am looking for a family to have an Au Pair experience, starting from November/december 2018 until February 2019.
My name is Giovanni and I come from Italy. I am a medicine student at university and I would really enjoy to do an Au Pair experience. I would want to become part of a family abroad in order to grow on a human point of view and live a special experience, knowing a new culture and meeting new people. I think this exchange would enrich both me and the family I would join. Moreover I love children and I have already had experience with them in the past and in the present too.
Here in my country, I volunteer for an italian NGO (Emergency) that operates in the health field organizing events and sensitizing about a peace and solidarity culture.
Talking about me, I think I am a kind and polite person, I am patient and composed and I never lose my calm. I am not very talkative, but I am very curious.
In my family we are five. My brother is older than me, while my little sister is fourteen.
I love travelling, infact in the future when I will finish university and become a doctor I would like to go working far away, such as Africa, Asia or South America, in order to meet new cultures and different people to know how do they live and their habits. Moreover I really like reading books, watching films and playing the guitar. I love watching and playing football and I also really like travelling by bike. I want to become a doctor because it is a job that allows you to help people who live difficult situations. I do volunteering because I think being generous and spreading a certain type of values is fundamental not only for people you meet, but also for yourself.
In the past I have worked a lot with children of different ages. I have been a children's entertainer in a summer camp for many years and I have trained children who played football for three years. Now I help three brothers from eleven to eighteen years old doing their homeworks every afternoon.
I would want to live an experience as an Au Pair abroad because I have already worked with children so I know how to behave with them. This could also permit me to know better the language and the culture of my host family.
