Hello my future host family,
My name is Diana, I'm from a small town in Mexico. I'm 24 years old. I studied languages at the university. Spanish is my mother language, English is my second one and my third one is French. Currently I live with my parents. I have no allergies, I don't smoke. I have an English certification from the British Council with a C1 level.
I am a person with a lot of energy and creativity. I personally enjoy working with kids I just love the way they learn and solve a problem. I love traveling and cooking. I have a lot of hobbies like reading, dancing, listening to music, backing, cycling, hacking, shopping, hang out with my friends etc … however I love spending my time improving my linguistic skills.
I consider myself a responsible and carrying person, I am easy going, adventurous, organize, punctual, positive and a hard working person. I am also a good listener.
Like every Mexican family, mine is big, I have my both parents (mom and dad), my three older brothers, a dog and a lovely parrot.
My first job growing up was a babysitter, I took care of 3 children with two different families for 2 years. I have 2 years of experience working with children in a foreign country. I spent the last 2 summers working in a Summer Camp in the USA, there I worked with kids and teenagers as well. When I was in college, I made my internships in two high schools as an English and French teacher.
I enjoy spending my time alone and with my friends, however I would love to develop and strong connection with my host family in order to don't suffer with the common home-sick. I don't mind to help in the chores of the house I know how to mop the floors, sweep, do the dishes, clean a bathroom, do my bed, do the laundry etc..
I would love to be an Au Pair because I believe is the perfect opportunity to grow as a person and to increase my language skills also because I love the idea to travel to another continent and learn more about other cultures and meeting new people. I can't wait to show you my own culture and to work with you in order to create new stories and memories.
