AU pair currently teaching art and English in China willing to travel anywhere native from England. Available 10/07-01/09

I am currently living and teaching in china and have been for the last two years. Whilst in china Mainly on Hainan island I have been working with children aged between 2 – 15 years old within different learning environments such as Learning centers, kindergartens, volunteer activities, summer and winter camps. My classes have ranged from 2 – 25 students.Since being in education myself I have always had a passion for the English language, having studied it closely I have chosen to spend my life teaching it to others. My previous jobs have all enhanced my teaching abilities, whether it be a professional work environment, classroom or at home with children of all ages.  The main focus is always the children, maximizing their learning and life skills, I am able to do this through many methods and materials to fit the needs of all children I have had the pleasure of teaching. It is important to understand and adapt to each child as they hold many different learning styles and abilities, many of my methods do include the arts and culture, cultivating the minds of the children to not only be smart but to have a pure and powerful imagination, also to always have fun!
