My name is Eduardo and I am from Asuncion, Paraguay; a landlocked country in South America. I am a dynamic person with a proactive attitude. I am always willing to help with any kind of situation. I am an English teacher, so I am used to working with children and teenagers. I always connect with them very fast. My expectations are to learn, to expand my knowledge, get more cultural awareness, and above all, get to know a family to spend time with and even consider it as mine.
I have 2 sisters; one older and one younger. The younger one was born when I was 13 years old. This served as experience to take care of children taking into account that my parents work. My sister and I help them by taking care of my little sister. This helped a lot to understand many things I wasn't aware of and it is still helping now that I'm an English teacher. I am pursuing a BA in English language (focus on teaching), because of this I study how to work with children and teenagers. All of that makes easier for me to understand and connect them in a way they feel safe. I also help a colleague with her 2-years-old baby every time she needs it since she is a single mother.
I am a big fan of books. Also, biking is one of my favorite sports, and I bike to work every day in order to exercise.
