AU PAIR, 24, SEEKING FOR A LOVELY HOST FAMILY STARTING THIS MID-JUNE

Dear Host Family,

My name is Ma Christian, you can call me Maria or MC, which ever is more
comfortable for you. I've been an au pair for almost 4 consecutive years now.
During my free time I enjoy reading books, writing poems, listening to music and
playing with kids. I also love exploring new things and experimental
cooking/baking. Being 4 years as an au pair, I can say that it's been an amazing
experience and I learned and still learning a lot from living away from home.
My previous and present au pair experience is quite different from one another. In
my two years' time in Denmark, I stayed with a quite independent family of 5 -
parents and 3 children (of ages 14, 11 and 8 at present). Host family also have a
dog, a big one of labradoodle breed. Daily work was tidying up in the morning,
hanging, folding and ironing clothes, changing bed sheets every 14 days and
helping out in making food (cutting vegetables, preparing the table). I seldom
brought and picked up kids from school, put the youngest one to bed not very
often, only when either one parent was away and the other had urgent things to do.
I also went to Danish language school until April 2016 (a month before I moved to
Holland). I have a completion certificate up to DU 2.4.

Last 2016, I stayed with a multi-cultured family of 6 consisting of parents and
3 boys and 1 girl ( ages 8, 7, 5 and 2). I prepare breakfast everyday mainly
porridge, bread toast or pancakes. I also prepare they're lunch boxes. Thereafter I
bring the boys to daycare and school (when host dad is home he brings the two
eldest boys) and host mom brings the girl because they go to different schools.
Then I tidy up a little and hang/fold/iron clothes when I get back, depending on
time. The baby sitter pick them up from school and I pick up the youngest one in
the day care meanwhile the baby sitter stays with the 3. I also make dinner most of
the time then tidy up after. The family is quite exceptional because we always
have the same food every week but I also love cooking so I know other dishes as
well.

At present, I am an au pair to a Dutch-Belgian family here in Oud-turnhout (Belgium). I am looking after a sweet and smart boy of 3 years. I prepare breakfast and lunchbox for him, sometimes bring him to school. I also pick him up from school and have lunch with him and the put him to bed in the afternoon. Moreover, I tidy up in the house and fold and iron clothes. Sometimes do errands in the busy weeks like getting groceries.

If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me. I can also give you
my previous and present host family's contact information for reference purposes.

Kind regards,
Maria
