Au pair from Taiwan called Emma, 19, looking for a nice family, for 1-2 months between late June and mid September!

Dear family,
My name is Emma, Taiwanese, turning 20 at the end of 2018. I'm an outgoing person who loves nature, arts, and outdoor activities. I really like to spend time with children, they're just so energetic and creative and full of amazing ideas!

I grew up in a loving family of 5, having 1 older and 1 younger brother. My dad is a doctor; my mom was a professor of music before she quit the job for us. They've always supported and encouraged us to explore new things; I've tried learning the cello, the piano, the violin, ballet, taekwondo, and GO. Now I'm quite a good GO player, and am considering to take part in the school orchestra as a violinist. When in high school, I used to help out as a teaching assistant in an organization that provides after-school caring and tutoring for free for people in need. I went there 1-2 times a week after school, was assigned to a particular class made up of 7-10 kids in their 7th grade. The first time I was there, the kids were so curious that they kept asking me questions. Soon we became friends; every time they saw me, yelling at me excitedly, my tiredness seemed to disappear and instead there came a peaceful feeling of happiness. That was a really nice and meaningful experience, and I still miss those kids sometimes.

If you are looking for cultural exchanges, I'm more than willing to share with you the Taiwanese food, traditional Taiwanese festivals, places to visit in Taiwan, etc. And of course I can teach you and the kids Chinese if you wish.
