Au Pair/ Nanny from America looking for a family starting in July, 2018!

Hi families! My name is Maria, I am 23 years old from Philadelphia, USA. Currently I am with a lovely host family in Melbourne, and would like to see another part of Australia starting in July!

I graduated from college in December, studying psychology. I am also a certified behavioral technician and have experience working with children with Autism, along with other behavioral issues.

I have worked with children for 10 years. I started with babysitting, then in high school and throughout college I worked at summer camps and a Montessori School/preschool. During my time at the Montessori and preschools, I have learned a lot about how children ages 18 months - 6 years learn about language, reading, and writing. At the summer camps, we played a lot of different games and activities, as well as arts and crafts. I also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the camps. (I am CPR and first aid certified.)

I am a loyal, reliable, responsible and caring person. I like to have lots of fun and laughs, but I can also be serious when it is needed. I look forward to talking to you!
