Dear Host Family,
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Katja. I am a happy 19 years old Danish girl, living with my parents and little brother Robert. This summer I will graduate from high school. Here after, I would like to become an au pair, because I think it would be a year of great and fun life experience.


I like to spend my spare time with my family and friends. Besides that, I enjoy cooking – especially making pastries :-) I live an active life. My family and I spend a lot of time enjoying nature with outdoor activities such as biking, bathing, walks and travelling. We like travel to foreign countries to experience different cultures. During my education, I have been exchange student in both France and Spain.

I think being an au pair is a great opportunity to get to know a foreign family. I would love to become a part of a new family and experience their culture. I think one of the many benefits of being an au pair is that I get to spend a lot of time with children along with many new experiences. I have lots of great memories from my own childhood, and I would really like to create good memories for other children.
