Au Pair from Peru called Valeria,19 looking for a job with a nice and lovely family.I would like to have my own room and one/two days per week free.

Dear host family,

My name is Valeria Alejandra but everyone call me Jana because of my second name. I am 18 years old and I live in Peru with my parents and brothers. My mother's name is Viviana and she works as a nurse here in Lima , and my father's name is Carlos and he works in Mercedes Benz. I have got a 3 siblings. My sister name is Zvetka. She is 14 years old. My other 2 brothers are very young with 5 and 3 years old.We are a very caring, sociable and communicative family. My family is very large. My mother has three sisters and one brother, and my father has 1 sister and 3 brothers, so I have many uncles, aunts and little cousins. I love children and I am the oldest one so I have been always taking care of my sister when my parents were at work and also my little cousins in summer, preparing their food, helping them with homework, playing and doing crafts together or going to the pool. I have been always surrounded children!
I am so excited with the opportunity to know you better and to be a member of your family.
When I finished high school in 2015, I decided to study Communication and Marketing in very import university here in Lima , the capital of my country. For me, it was one of the most important decisions in my life because for months I didn't know what to study, but Now I can say that I love my career! University has taught me to appreciate many things, to be much more responsible than I was before going and to mature as person. I have always been very active and hard working.Since I have 15 I started to work.So I tried to help at home combining my studies with different jobs. My favorite work definitely is working with children's ens because they know how to get the best out of myself and I try to teach them to do their best. It is a very rewarding job.
In my freshman year, I met new friends from a lot of diferentes country's .Ariel an American girl who was the roommate of my best friend taught me many things about American way of life that rose even more, my desire to know more of your country and culture. My family and my friends say that I'm a very motherly, patient, responsible and loving person.I love kids and I really enjoy taking care of them so this year I decided to fulfill my dream of being an au pair in America. My parents support my decision and they are very happy for me.
I have experience in caring for children, girls and boys too. In 2016 I took care of 2 girls. The experience was great. In the morning I used to wake up the girls for school , have breakfast together and help them to get dressed. Later, in the afternoon going to the pool or play hide and seek if they don't have homework.
On the other hand, I have the experience of taking care of the baby from my uncle . He was a baby of eight months and I had to prepare his bottles, fed him, help him to develop the skills that a baby of his age begins to learn, like turns from side to explore around, entertaining him with toys or helping him to sleep.
Besides childcare experience, I also love reading books and newspaper every day, I enjoy deep conversation's, listening music or watching movies, traveling and learning about other cultures and ways of life, meeting new people, talking and sharing experiences. I like healthy eating, but I love making cakes and butter or chocolate cookies, brownies, cheesecakes and fruit smoothies. I find very entertaining teaching children how to prepare desserts and funny smoothies.
The reason I wanna be a Au pair is have the opportunity to improve my English, meet your lifestyle, your habits and your country, which I greatly admire. And what better way than doing what I love! Kids learn a lot of us, but we learn more from them than we think. To me, it's wonderful see them growing up with us and learning, litlle by little, to be more independent.
Also I love meeting new places and new people.I really like new experiences and I know I will be making my dreams come true in this job.
