Au pair with experience looking for a nice family in Aarhus

Dear Family!

My name is Flora, I am twenty-two years old and I am looking for a live-in nanny/au pair/general helper position near AARHUS, DENMARK. I am going to study Environmental Management at Business Academy Aarhus from September 2017, which will leave me with about 20 hours of time a week for work. I can start from 23 August.

I have six years of experience with children. I have had various occasional and part-time sole care babysitting jobs since 2009 and I was also an au pair in 2014.

I consider myself patient, loving and fun to spend time with, but also strict enough to maintain obedience and supportive in terms of personal development. I grew up in a liberal environment, meaning that all of my siblings and I (there are six of us) were gently guided along the path of growing up - our parents were strict but we were also left to make our own choices - within reason - without excessive parental interference.

When I'm at a theoretical crossroads with the kids, I ask myself, "What would have worked best for me when I was a child?" and try to figure out things from there. I hope to grow and learn as much as I can - I do think teaching and learning isn't a one-way thing between children and adults.

If you think we have a similar mindset about childcare, please don't hesitate to get in touch. :)
