18 year old au pair from the United States named Claire, looking to work over the summer for a nice family starting late May/Early June.

I'm an eighteen year old American university student. I am from Vermont but I am currently in my first year at Vassar College in New York where I am studying Anthropology, French, and International Studies. I am a very enthusiastic and motivated students but enjoy many activities outside the classroom as well. I am a dancer and am part of student-run dance organizations as well as organizations that help out in our local community. I love dancing, singing, cooking, reading, animals, traveling, and being with my family and friends. I also love to work with and be with children. I started babysitting at 11 years old and during high school I worked at my (boarding) school's nursery school with young children ages 3 years-5 years old. I now work 8 hours a week at my college's nursery school with ages 3 months-3 years old. For the past two summers I have worked as a cabin counselor, swim instructor and lifeguard at an overnight camp for girls ages 5-13. I have spent some time abroad in France with school and family, as well as Canada, and can't wait to travel more.
