Hello! With the challenges and joys of raising four beautiful children, our family is looking to add an au pair to supplement care and domestic organization. Two of the children will be home, while two are in school full-time. My husband and I are both teachers, and we are looking to hire an au pair from mid-august until mid-june. The au pair would return home for a summer holiday and then return again when the new school year starts! We are an active family that engages in a lot of activities and simply need more hands on deck! We can't wait to get started welcoming an au pair into our home for the upcoming school year!!
We are looking for someone, first and foremost, that can love our children. Someone who is patient and energetic. Someone who has an excellent work ethic. We are looking for someone who would be comfortable speaking Portuguese to our children and helping them learn the language as well as the Portuguese culture. We have a little dog, so someone who is at least comfortable around animals, although animal care would not be part of the job. Two of the children would need to be brought to and from school each day (we live across the street from their elementary school). The younger two children would be home with you and we are hope their days will be full of outdoor and indoor play, walks, and healthy activities. We are mostly a screen-free family. The weekends and evenings would be mostly yours to privately enjoy as you like. We are happy to bring you about or let you drive to activities that interest you. We are also looking for someone who can accommodate moderate housework, and help organize our busy lives with four children. We are happy to fly you home for the summer holiday in mid-june and then see you again for mid-august when the new school year starts to gear up again.
