Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

Au pair needed to be a big sister to Abbie (15) and Zander (13). We're a busy active family based about 50km south-west of London. Role is looking after the children and helping with washing, ironing and changing beds.

The main thing we are looking for in an au pair is that they are relaxed and know how to deal with teenagers. We also need them to be flexible. If they are flexible with us, we are flexible with them. We do not expect any weekend working but with Allan and I both being in relatively senior roles, there are times we need some extra support. We hope that our Au Pairs feel very much part of the family and look on our house as their home for the time they are with us. We do set clear boundaries for what is expected from them in terms of work but when they have time off, every Saturday and Sunday, our Au Pairs are not expected to take care of the children and it is entirely up to them whether or not they want to join in any activities with us. The only time that this does not happen is when we go on away on holiday as it is then just the 4 of us. We need this time as a family unit to just be together and enjoy 100% focussed family time.
