Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

Mo (French Nomad traveling since 2011 - Wilderness Survival Instructor and Expedition Paramedic certified from England) and Angie (Polish Nomad- B.Sc Animal Husbandry Major in Horse care, riding and training) and their 2 infants are currently traveling on horses through Argentina as a part of their project to travel from Argentina to Mexico on horses over the course of 10 years. We are offering tours and training to earn money and make this expedition possible, like the following: Horse riding Lessons - Horse Riding Adventure. Thus we need help with our expedition with or without client.

We currently have 3 riding horses and a motorhome (we sleep in it, our equipment and food and used as a support vehicle. We need an additional persons to help the crew with leading/riding the horse when moving, on turn basis preparing foods and cleaning up, entertaining the kids, packing the bags, setting up and taking down the tents, feeding & watering horses, collecting firewood, making the campfire, taking photos and videos, sharing jokes and stories together. There will be a lot of horse riding, thus priority is given to ones who are experienced with horses.

What we offer is the Accommodation and expedition experience. An expedition volunteering work is not set to particular hours but spread throughout the day.

What will you do and how does Volunteering will look like?
We start packing at 8.30 am before which you are required to wake up, have your tea/coffee, your breakfast, take down your tent and pack it.

At 8.30 you are required to wash plates and cutleries of breakfast, help with grooming all 3 horses then saddle them up. If we don't have any clients coming for horse riding on that day, you'll get on the horse and ride with Mo or Angie for the next 2-3 hours until we find a good spot for a lunch break. The riding is mostly walking with some periods of trot and canter if you're comfortable.
The person who drives the van in the morning will prepare the lunch for the riding team, together with the second volunteer (if there are two volunteers at the same time).
After 2 hours of lunch break, we swap over and the team who was riding horses in the morning will go in a van and prepare the camp for the night. While the other team will continue riding for the next 2 hours until they reach the camp spot.

We usually get to the camp between 5-6, where you will work for 30 min to unsaddle the horses, set up the tent, and arrange all the equipment in the correct place. After this half-hour set-up, you will have 30 minutes break to set-up your own tent and relax. But, you will have to be back for another hour for the last bit of the job. Cooking dinner, preparing hot water, and cold water, washing up after the dinner.
