Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

We are looking for a live in au pair to join our happy, relaxed family with two great, fun loving girls who will be aged 8 and 11 in September. Start date ideally in early September to stay for around a year (shorter stay to be considered for the right candidate).

We need an au pair to start ideally between 30 August and 2 September.

We expect the au pair to put out breakfast for the children, ensure they are ready for school and walk the younger child to school. This is from approximately 7.15 to 8.45. The school is about a 10 minute walk from our house.

You will then be free to do other activities during the day, including taking English lessons if you want.

School pick up ranges from around 3.00 pm on Fridays (or a bit earlier in the winter) to 5.15 on dates when they have after school clubs.

After picking them up and getting home you can prepare dinner for the children while they play and do home work and chores - and of course you can play with them as well. We generally get home from work between 7 & 7.15 and take care of putting the children to bed.

We also would like you to help out with basic chores supporting the children, mainly laundry and cooking.

We (the adults) don't go out much but we also expect some babysitting in the evenings and we will inform in advance. The babysitting can be on weekdays or on weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

You will have a good size double bed room and a bathroom that you will share with the children.
