We are an Italo-American family in Bologna, Italy looking for help for our 2 boys, 2 and 4 years old, for the school year and who will become a part of our family!

Hello!

We are a young Italo-American family of 4. I am American, from Minnesota and my husband is Italian from Tuscany. We are a relaxed, easy going family with two boys currently 3.5 years old and 1.5 years old. I am an English teacher at the middle school and high school level and my husband is a computer programmer.

We live in an apartment in the center of Bologna. Bologna is a medium sized city where you can easily get around without a car and have easy access to public transportation or get around by bike. It is a university city so there are many international students and offers quite a lot to see and do.

We are looking for a fun but mature good English speaker to help our family out. You would have your own bedroom and a half bath to yourself.

We are a young Italo-American family of 4. I am American, from Minnesota and my husband is Italian from Tuscany. We are a relaxed, easy going family with two boys currently 4 years old and almost 2 years old. We are simple, happy, laid back family. We enjoy spending the evenings together cooking, playing, and watching the occasional tv show. A few times during the month we travel during the weekends.

At the moment our children don't attend any after-school activities so the days consists of getting ready to get out of the door, getting to school and or work, and coming home to relax in the evenings.

If we're not traveling on the weekends, we enjoy taking in the city center by going for walks or going to the park. We also like to hosting our friends for dinner parties every now and then. My husband is an avid Fiorentina soccer fan and tries to get in a game of tennis when he can. I enjoy helping out at our church with the Sunday school lessons and summer camps.

Our boys will be attending day care and preschool in the fall so we are looking for someone to take them to "school" in the morning and to pick up them in the afternoon. As well be available to watch them at home if they are ill or in the evenings when we return late from work.

As a teacher I am often the first one out of the house and have meetings in the afternoon sometimes after the boys get home from school. So we hope to have a helping hand in managing some of the routine household logistics.

We often travel to Tuscany on the weekends to visit family, about twice a month, so those weekends would be free. During the week, the late mornings and afternoons would be free except in the case of illness and pretty much most evenings too with occasional request for babysitting so we can go to the cinema, out to dinner, etc.

We would like help with some light house hold duties like loading and emptying the dishwasher, clearing the table after breakfast, keeping the toys cleaned up, and picking up a few groceries if something urgent was missing.
