The requirements are:
Native french speaker, drives (will drive but not a lot), educated well in french grammar.
Would like someone who can read music, do ballet and speak Spanish. But these are not required.
I need someone who wants to go out and explore NYC while the girls are with their dad. Someone who is comfortable being out in NYC on their own. There are tons of ways to meet other nannies and I am looking for someone who likes to be out of the house. There are alos free english classes.
I need someone who knows how to be firm with children, not only someone who knows how to play with them.

About me
I am a single mother of 2 very joyful little girls who are both in school all day. My girls have a French father, and for that reason, we have always spoken French at home. I work five days a week so I am looking for someone to live with us in our 3 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn. We live in a great, fun, lively neighborhood with the subway on the corner to go 4 stops to Manhattan in 10 minutes. I am looking for someone enthusiastic and fun to help me raise the girls and run the household. There is a lot of time off because the girls are with their father a lot. Every other weekend from friday to monday is off because they are with their father, so there are travel opportunities. I enjoy doing yoga and going out with friends, so I am looking for a live-in who can be there on the evenings when the girls are home with me and not at their father's house.

What do you expect?
I need an au pair who will help get the girls ready in the morning, bring them to school and pick them up. Bring them to activities. Cook for us - I want someone who knows how to cook healthy food, not just heat up frozen chicken. Help run the household - buy food, make lunches, straighten up, do laundry for the girls. Homework is in French so I need someone who speaks, reads and writes french fluently. I need someone who plays with and engages the children. Someone active who can run with them in the playground if necessary. And also does homework, as my girls are in French school and learning to read in french.
