About Me:
I am a disabled attorney who uses a motorized wheelchair for mobility .I have been disabled my entire life but my condition was exasperated because I was in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in September 2001. In spite of my disability, I have a wonderful life in Manhattan. This is an excellent job for someone who wants to live the Manhattan lifestyle. I would like to hire someone to help me with my daily living activities. I basically just need a person with two good hands and patience. A good sense of humor would also be helpful. I have a wonderful three bedroom apartment in Manhattan with beautiful views New York Harbor and I also have a large house in New Jersey. I am American, Catholic, single and 50 years of age. In my free time I go to movies, read books, play chess, swim, go to museums, have dinner parties and go for long walks in the city.
About the Job:
Excellent Job with no heavy lifting. Wanted trustworthy, energetic, punctual young woman as assistant/caregiver. I am looking for someone to help me with my daily living activities, which include laundry, housekeeping, dressing, light exercising, stretching, swimming and wheelchair transferring. This is an excellent job for someone who likes to read, watch TV or work on the computer. There are no crying children. There are no agency fees. No medical background is required. The salary is $400 per week plus three meals each day. The salary will be paid in cash. My assistant must be able to speak English reasonably well. The individual must also be a good listener and able to follow instructions. This is a serious position for a mature individual.
