We are a fun, active, open-minded, and loving family that has decided to find an au pair because we need help looking after our children now that we are a family of five. We are looking for a smart, kind hearted, flexible, and fun au pair to be a big sister to our children and to become another member of our family.
My name is Candace and I am 34 years old, I work as an engineer at a government contractor company. My husband Frederick is 40 years old and he is also an engineer that works at a government contractor company. We have been married for 12 years. We have three children, one son Frederick who is 5 years old, and two daughters, Anastasia who is 3 years old and Elliana who is 1 years old. We live in a five bedroom house in Aurora, which is southeast of Denver, about 30 minutes from downtown Denver.
In a few weeks, Frederick will be starting half-day kindergarten and Anastasia will be attending half-day preschool at the local elementary school that is five minutes from our home. Anastasia will be off from school every Friday. Elliana would be in your care all day, and she is a pretty easy going baby who is active and enjoys food.
The relationship we would like you to develop with the kids is part big sister, part mentor/role model, as well as activity coordinator/fun-maker. We like to keep a tidy and organized home, and we prefer for the kids to learn to tidy after themselves, rather than expect someone else to do it for them. We are trying to raise cheerful, polite, smart, respectful, responsible, accountable, independent, strong, and capable children. We want an au pair who is equally comfortable being firm and silly with the children.
Your schedule would be taking care of the kiddos from Monday to Friday while we work. We would reserve any additional hours of childcare for help during the occasional weekend, but you will have the majority of your weekends free.
We need an au pair to start with us in September, which is when our current au pair is returning home to Germany. We have really enjoyed having an Au Pair, and would love to try this experience again. If you are interested and would consider being our au pair please contact us.
