A littel more about us... We have travelled to a lot of places, and we have lived in the USA and Malaysia, which we recently returned from. Charlotte likes to cook and sew, and we often eat meals from all over the world. Ben is interested in current events. The children love to play trains, to draw, read, play with lego, go to the park, and of course, watch movies and play games. It is normal for siblings to fight a little, which our children do, but mostly they are gentle with each other, and mostly well behaved. They love to laugh and make jokes and they are great at making up imaginary games.

We are looking for an au pair who wants to be part of a family. We like to integrate our au pair into our family life; we eat our evening meal together as a family and we usually invite our au pair when we go to the movies, or to the museum, or out on our adventures. Both parents are studying: Ben is studying his Masters and Charlotte is studying to be a midwife. We offer scheduled hours so you can plan your time, but because Charlotte works "on call" there may occasionally be times when your schedule will change. For this reason, an au pair who is relaxed and easy goin would be best suited for our family.

So...what are we looking for? We would like an energetic, relaxed and creative young woman to help out with our children. Your main duties would be to play with the kids, you can bake with them or take them to the park or for walks. The all 4 children are at school for 2 days of the week, then the youngest 2 are home for the other 3 days. You will work 25 hours per week and those hours will be scheduled. Because we eat our meals together, it is unfortunately not possible for us to host a vegan or vegetarian au pair. If you have allergies, we can discuss those and in most cases, it will not be a problem.

We have hosted au pairs for 5 years so we are experienced in having someone else live with us. We can provide references to serious applicants.
