Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

Francophone au pair to help 4 pm - 7:30 pm in leafy Nairobi so the kids can learn French.

French-speaking au pair needed! We already have a full time nanny (she works 7 am- 4 pm Mon-Fri) so we need someone from 4 pm to 7:30 pm to help with dinnertime and bedtime. We would also appreciate help on Saturdays and Sundays from about 8 am - noon. We have a cleaner so the only cleaning duties would be to tidy up after the kids, and wash their dishes. The nanny will do their laundry. We have a cook so you wouldn't need to cook for yourself or the girls (though you are welcome to!).

We are an international family living in Nairobi, Kenya (Farasi Lane, if you want to google it). We have two little girls aged 1.5 and 3. I am half Kenyan, half English, my husband is half Nigerian, half Jamaican, but grew up in England. He studied in France and is fluent - we would like our children to speak French as well which is why we would like you to come stay with us. We are easygoing, we live very comfortably in a secure gated compound of 8 houses in a leafy suburb on a quiet lane great for jogging. The house is pretty huge - you would have your own bedroom, bathroom, and privacy. If you are interested in getting a part-time internship (e.g. weekdays until 3 pm) we can help you. Nairobi is a centre for tech and for development - it has a thriving social life and you can get around easily with Uber. We're really happy here and we think you would be too.
