We are a traditional family with four children; two girls and two boys. One son lives out of the house, and the other is away at boarding school. Our two girls are active in sports and school, including soccer, swimming, Girl Scouts and acting. We have had nannies before and very much enjoy working with young ladies, all of whom have become friends and members of our family. We live in the greater Washington D.C. area in a lovely home in Virginia.

We are a loving married couple who have been married since 1995. We are both attorneys, but aren't stuffy or overly impressed by ourselves! We love our children and our family and our dog! My wife hasn't practiced law for a few years, but has decided to go back to work, hence the need for a nanny or au pair. We have had au pairs in the past and they became like members of the family. We have a five bedroom house and large yard. We like to bar-b-que, eat out, and make traditional food. We LOVE to travel, and do so often. We ski each winter as a family, skiing most weekends, and travel to Utah to our family place each winter. We are big readers, have a sense of humor, and are relaxed. In your free time, you can drive or take the Metro to Washington D.C. in less than 30 minutes, or drive to the beach in less than two hours, or the mountains in an hour. We have a three story house, with a finished basement, that includes a full bedroom, bathroom, family room, movie theatre, and workout room. If you were a live-in, you would have the basement bedroom, which is large, has large windows looking out to our gardens, and your own bathroom with bath and shower. We have a very large back yard, that has an outdoor fireplace, patio, porch, and lots of room to play sports. We live 10 minutes from the largest Mall in the area (Tyson's Corner).
