Start your Aussie adventure with us! Au pair needed for suburban Sydney family with 2 school aged boys, lots of free time.

We are seeking an Au Pair to join our family of 4 in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. We have two sons, aged 6 and 8 who are both at school. They are active, fun loving boys who love riding their bikes, kicking a ball or playing Minecraft on their iPads. We are a fun, loud family with occasional fart jokes (from the kids) and swear words (from the grown ups).

Mum is a registered nurse who is taking on a full time management role and Dad is a security manager with a busy and varied schedule. There are also two small, elderly dogs who won't take up any of your time but will welcome friendly pats :)
Your duties will include:
Preparing kids for school
Walking them to and from school each day (approx 10 mins walk)
Tidying the children's rooms and shared living areas
Attending to the children's laundry
After school snacks
Helping with homework
Preparing school lunches for the next day
Caring for children one Saturday evening per month, arranged in advance.

Mum & Dad leave at 7:30am and return at 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You will care for the kids for one hour in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, with approx one hour of tidying/ laundry per day, total approx 25hrs per week. You will have lots of free time. Weekends and public holidays are yours to enjoy. School holidays to be negotiated.

Our home includes bedroom with built-in wardrobe and ensuite that would be yours alone. We have wi-fi available for you to use. You'll be provided with a mobile phone and pocket money. We live very close to Western Sydney University and a short walk from the local shops. There is a popular nightclub nearby that regularly hosts international acts. We are close to public transport, national parks and the Georges River. Buses nearby go to larger shopping centres, cinemas, restaurant precincts and more.

We would love to show you around Sydney! The city is not far away and there are many wonderful attractions to see. We love exploring our city and beyond, you're welcome to join us for outings but also happy for you to explore the city at your own pace or with your friends.

We are looking for a tidy and punctual but easy going person, who will become a valued member of our household. No driving necessary. Required to start the last week of January 2018 and commit to 6 months. Must be eligible for an Australian working holiday visa. If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
