AuPair for family with 4 beautiful sweet daughters. We are looking for someone who become part of our family and help us since we are both busy working parents.
My name is Kristen, and my husband is Jason. We have 4 beautiful, sweet daughters. Our oldest daughter is Kayla, and she is 7 years old. We have 2 other daughters, Taylor (who is 5), and Hailey (who is 3). Our baby girl is Kinsley, and she is 18 months old. We are currently living in Madison, Mississippi, which is near Jackson which is the state capital.
Our last AuPair, Daniela, is from Mexico. We love her so much, and have had the most amazing experience with her. She spent the past 2 years with us, and has truly become part of our family. She really enjoyed her 2 years with our family. When she started, she was only planning to stay for 1 year. However, she has made so many great friends here, and really bonded with our family, so she decided to stay another year. If it were possible with the AuPair program, I am sure she would want to stay longer. Because of our wonderful experience with Daniela, we are looking for a new AuPair who not only wants to come to the US to learn English and explore the American culture, but someone who wants to form meaningful bonds with our family.
Our schedule is pretty busy, and it may be a lot of hours. On average, I would count working between 40-45 hours. However, the good part about our schedule is that all of the hours are during the week, and that you would have almost every evening and weekend completely off.
We also need someone who is OK with early mornings, as Jason and I have to be at work early ourselves. Most days for Daniela (our first AuPair) started at 7:15AM, however, there are some days that she started work as early as 6AM. My work schedule varies by the month, so some months I am able to go into work late, and some months that I need to be there early. There will be 2-3 months during the year when we would need you to start at 6AM Monday-Friday. However, most other months would be a 7:15 start time.
The mornings are busy with getting the girls to school, but most of the days will be quiet, while the 3 big girls are in school from 7:45am - 2:45pm.
We definitely need someone who feels comfortable with driving, since the position would require driving the girls to and from school daily. (The drive is about 15-20 minutes each way).
