We are a happy and easy going family of 3. We currently live in Qatar and we will be moving this fall to Galati, a city on the Danube river, in the southeastern part of Romania. We will be living there for about two years and we would love to have an au pair/nanny for our daughter.
Our daughter is one-and-a-half-year-old and she's a star! She loves “reading” books, coloring, playing, running around and helping out at home. Shes is learning three languages (Romanian, Dutch and English).

Our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter is adorable and we are looking for someone to love her as much as we do. To make her laugh, keep her safe and active, teach and guide her in discovering the world. We would like someone that is "mum" to her during the day and like a family member at the end of the day, who would enjoy a glass of wine (optional) and fill us in about the day's activities in the evening.
My husband and I both work 5 days a week and are not comfortable having her in daycare, at least not for the next year. We would much rather have her at home in a loving environment. As we are now living in Qatar, she has a nany that has been with us for more than a year now. As a rough guide the job is caring for our daughter during the weekdays, possibly bringing her to some activities such as swimming or playdates and also help out with some household chores when she's napping, as we like to maintain a clean and tidy home. Our daughter is learning three languages (Romanian, Dutch and English), so she will be communicating in English with the au pair/nanny, who would preferably be a native English-speaker or have a perfect command of English. We generally apply Montessori principals at home, so a good understanding of and experience with the Montessori environment is much appreciated. Our life is pretty flexible and relaxed, and in Romania we will also have the support of my family (grandma, grandpa, auntie and uncle) that live close by.
Both live-in and live-out options are possible; however, we would prefer you to join in and become part of our family. We are currently searching for a house in Galati now so we are able to cater for your wishes as well. Romania will be a new experience for us (as I have been living abroad for more than thirteen years), and we will find our way and discover it together with you.
