Dear Au-pair
My name is Amanda Wang. It's my pleasure to write the letter to you. You would be a perfect family new member, hopefully that you are willing to join us.
Let me give you some more details about our family. Luckily enough , God sent us our beloved son David in 2014, who is now 3 years old. We have a nice babysitter Miss Ali who comes from Philippine. She has already lived with us for more than 2 years. She is a lovely girl , responsible , reliable and open-minded. We get along very well with each other.
All the family members speak English in everyday life. I majored in English at university , we are doing import business. My little sweetheart David is able to speak and understand English very well.
We live in a duplex with private room and bathroom to offer you. My husband is a good cook and an expert in astrology. He also is interested in world history and philosophy . I enjoy reading and playing zither which is a Traditional instrument. At weekend, we like to go outside to enjoy the nature, and do some activities.
At home, Miss Ali would handle all of the house chores and the baby follow-ups such as taking shower, dressing up, and the cleaning .
We wish you would speak English with us. And we might have the chance to communicate more about your parents' way of raising a baby , if possible , you are welcome to share your childhood growing-up experiences with us. And at weekend we can go outside together, eat special Chinese food in restaurant , go swimming , go hiking and have fun .
I should say little David is cooperative and adorable, sometimes he can be a little naughty. We hope you may correct his behavior in your own ways whenever he misbehaves. We think a good character and attitude is very important. We have the plan to immigrate in future, so we hope our son may have an access to foreign traditions and culture after you come. He is expected to have desired etiquette in his mind and react properly and gracefully towards frustration. We hope he may enjoy an pleasant character in his whole life. We also are ready to take this chance to learn and get advices from you,both in language study and in your culture. If you are interested in Chinese tradition, feel free to let us know, we may do our best to be any help to you.
Last year from May to August Sonia as an aupair stayed with us for 4 months.We have a wonderful time .
