We are an Australian family seeking our third au pair from June 2016 to care for our 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son. We have a busy lifestyle and benefit from having an au pair to help with childcare before and after school and some light housework.

We are a busy family of 4 living in the Queensland Capital City of Brisbane.
Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia with 2.3 million residents.Brisbane is the gateway to the Gold Coast (south), Sunshine Coast (North) and also an economical port to travel by air to North Queensland (Cairns) and also Sydney and Melbourne.
Our children are 10 (Ruby) and 8 (Jobe), they are active, fun, inquisitive children with many interests. In summer they love to swim and enjoy tennis lessons and backyard cricket. Ruby has started gymnastics lessons this year and Jobe plays Australian Rules football. They are both avid readers, love movies and board games.
Craig and I both have busy careers and I often travel for work, so having an au pair provides consistency and support for both the children and us as parents. We ask our au pair to work Monday to Friday 7AM- 8:45AM (when you drop the children at school)and then 2:45 (when you pick them up) to 6PM. We ask for your assistance with Homework, dropping children at activities and light housework (general tasks such as vacuuming, stacking and emptying the dishwasher, children's washing and general tidy up with the children).
The time in the middle of the day is your free time and we offer our Au Pair most evenings and weekend's off and will encourage you to travel on weekends.
We provide our au pair $170 AUD per week, a mobile phone, a car and fuel for trips relating to your au pair role. You are welcome to use the car for your private use on the weekend in your time off. We also provide a Public Transport Go-Card that allows you to travel on public transport as this is the best way to get around the inner city of Brisbane.
While we do not practice a particular religion, we are a family that respects all religious and lifestyle choices.
In what will be our third time hosting an au pair in our family, we are looking for an English speaking Au Pair with a genuine interest in children, some childcare experience, a drivers licence and someone who is willing to be part of the family, is hard working and shows initiative.
