Tallulah, who is 10 years old attends the local French school (EFIV Charles Perault) fulltime. Your duties will include the school run most days, after school care, helping with homework, doing girly things, and generally helping her improve her French language ability.

All our children live in London but Tallulah our granddaughter came to live with us 5 years ago after her mother died. With our full work schedule and limited French we cannot help with her school work as much as she needs so we want someone especially for that - i.e a native French speaker. As her first language is English you need to be reasonably fluent in that also.

Someone who is independent, self reliant and happy to have their own space (most evenings will be free) will love this position. Accommodation will be in a comfortable self contained apartment upstairs with sea views, and you will have the freedom to come and go independently.

Varna is a compact and really interesting city, and living is relatively cheap. The weather is good most of the year, and in the summer there are lots of free cultural events on offer and good beaches to enjoy. There is an active French community here too to socialise with.
