Active and adventurous family looking for a responsible, children loving, preferrably FRENCH speaking aupair or nanny to Luxembourg. Previous experience with small kids required.
We are looking for either an aupair or a full time nanny and housekeeper to join our family in Luxembourg. Previous experience of small children required. Experience from abroad is an asset.
We are a fun and outoing family who loves to travel. Our 1,5 year old daughter is the would to us, but unfortunately we are also very busy with our work. We are looking for a committed and experienced nanny who loves children. We offer a flexible working contract and you will be part of our family, treated with respect. You have to be patient with children and previous experience of small kids is required.
There is two options on what we can offer: 1) FULL TIME NANNY and housekeeper - long term contract with great flexibility 2) AU PAIR - pocket money and great experience for someone looking for less hours (mainly afternoons, evenings and weekends)
What is expected: Our daughter will be daily in kindergarten until 3:30 pm. You would be responsible to pick her up and give her a snack at home. Then you would play with her, read books, go to park and give her your full attention for about 3 hours until parents come home. After that we would like you to help us with dinner, so hopefully you like cooking :)
Sometimes we also have events in the late evenings and weekends, so on some evenings you should feed and put our daughter to bed and stay awake until we come home. We also love traveling and would like you to travel with our family and be the helping hand around when needed. On travels you would be on duty, but we make sure you also have time for little sightseeing and rest. Most of all, we hope that you are flexible but we will be flexible, too, if you need some days off. We live in a lovely neighbourhood and have a big extra room with private bathroom.
From an aupair we would also expect you to do household chores for about one hour every day (such as vacuuming, laundry, ironing) and keep the kitchen tidy. If you opt for the full time nanny and housekeeper job, you would be responsible for the entire household including cleaning, grocery shopping and cooking.
We especially like candidates who:
- have experience from working abroad
- have references
- have experience with small children
- have working visa for European Union
- a driver´s licence will help when doing grocery shopping etc. but it´s not a must
- fluency in french is a big asset but this can be negotiated, some skills will be helpful anyway. You can also speak your own language to our daughter if you prefer, we love a multicultural environment.
