My name is Josephine. I am 45 years old and live in the capital city - Kenya
I am a very neat, clean, hardworking, diligent and God fearing person and graduated from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. I am experienced with taking care of children (from 0-8 years). I have the ability to shape children minds and establish lifelong habits, such as good manners and organizational skills that will aid them in succeeding as adults. I am a friendly and very good with children. I volunteered as a baby sitter and childcare provider for one year taking care of my uncle's daughter after finishing high school. I also helped him and his wife by providing necessary services that allowed them to focus and concentrate on their jobs and other duties that assured them comfort knowing that their child was in safe hands and happy at home. I have been taking care of my own three (3) children since birth. I enjoy going to church, outdoors, cooking, travelling and researching on internet. In my little piece of world, I make a huge difference in the happiness and well-being of families and their children.
Beyond caring for the children, I am responsible for acting as an intermediary between the children, their teachers and parents. I have the ability to speak with people at all levels and logically relay messages and discuss the progress of the children with the parents. I am able to take instructions from the parents and follow through with the implementation. For example, working with parents to establish a routine for their children and keeping a track of the children's' after school activities, scheduled television time and medication schedule whenever they are unwell.
I have trained in first aid and a good grasp of nutrition. I am patient, mature, with exceptional organizational skills and a sense of humor. I am willing to undergo a background check before I commence my job.
